HOA Management and Fees

  • How much are the Association dues?

    • Annual dues are $250.00.Invoices are sent to property owners within the first week of January and are due within 45 days.

  • Where do I pay my dues?

    • Make online payments on the MEMBER PORTAL; or by mailing a check to: Crystal Springs HOA, PO Box 141, Mustang, OK 73064.

  • What happens if I am late on my dues?

    • A $25.00 late will be imposed. In some cases, a lien for delinquent assessments may be placed on your home.

  • Are dues tax-deductible?

    • Not generally, but HOA dues may be tax-deductible for landlords. Please seek advice from a tax professional.

  • If I own multiple homes in Crystal Springs, do I pay dues on all of them?

    • Yes, owners are liable for dues on each home.


Rules, Regulations, and Amenities

  • Are Air BNBs allowed in Crystal Springs?

    • No, as noted in the CC&Rs, lots may be leased provided only an entire Lot may be leased, for not less than twelve consecutive months by one single family, defined as not more than three or more people unrelated 
      by blood, marriage, or law. Refer to Exhibit C of the Initial Rules and Regulations 4. Leasing of Lots.

  • How do I get approval for home improvements (fences, paint, sheds and pools)?

    • Submit an Architectural Review Committee request form [found through the Member Portal in the File Share] before starting any exterior project. Some projects may require a permit and inspections from the City of Mustang.

  • What are the rules regarding pets?

    • A reasonable number of dogs, cats, or other usual and common household pets may be permitted. Please review Exhibit C of the Initial Rules and Regulations 2.2 Pets for restrictions on pet types, numbers, and leash laws. 

  • ​Can I operate a business from home?

    • Generally, high-traffic businesses are prohibited; operation of the business activity cannot be apparent or detectable by sight, sound. For detailed information, see Exhibit C of the Initial Rules and Regulations 2.17 
      Business Uses.

  • ​Can I reserve the park for a birthday park?

    • We do not accommodate reservations for the park or basketball court.

  • Is it allowed to ride dirt bikes or golf carts in the greenbelt area?

    • Unfortunately, it isn’t permitted.

  • ​My family has five cars, can we park one in the street?

    • No, that would be a violation of the CC&Rs. 


Governance and Legal

  • Where can I find the CC&Rs and Bylaws?

    • They are available in the Members Only section of this website, within the File Share.

  • ​When are board meetings held?

    • Board meetings are held on Zoom as needed and notice, as required by the HOA Bylaws, will be made on this website. Residents will be notified of the location of other meetings, including the Annual meeting, before they 
      occur.

  • ​As a renter, can I attend HOA meetings?

    • Yes, but you cannot vote on any HOA business. However, we would value your input as a Crystal Springs resident.

  • Can the HOA foreclose on my house?

    • Yes, in Oklahoma, HOAs can foreclose for unpaid assessments and fines.


Community Information

  • When is trash picked up in the community?

    • As of this writing, trash pickup is on Monday mornings. Holidays that occur on Monday do not typically impact the pickup schedules.  For more information, see Useful Links in the Member Portal.

  • ​Are residents allowed to hold garage sales?

    • Yes, we have two neighborhood garage sales a year. The HOA has four Garage Sale signs that are posted at each entrance. Look for notices asking residents to choose possible dates. 

  • ​Who do I call about a broken streetlamp or missing street signs?

    • Report street light outages to OG&E. The City of Mustang will replace missing street signs. See the 
      MEMBER PORTAL for Useful Links. 

  • ​My sidewalk is buckling and is a tripping hazard. Who is responsible for repairs? 

    • ​The property owner is liable.

  • ​How do I report a CC&R violation?

    • Please submit a violation report through the Contact Us page.
